Growing up in a outdoors and adventurous family, Geerick’s passion for exploration, travel, and the outdoors led him to falling in love with telling stories through visuals and exploring the world.

Geerick got his start assisting on commercials working under Jo Ooosthuizen as a Steadicam AC. That quickly led to working on the Emmy Award winning Series called Survivor in 2015 and other incredible projects with inspiring cinematographers both locally and abroad.

His love for travel and adventure pushes him to keep pursuing interesting projects, working with and learning from some of the best in the industry. He is passionate about sport, adventure, the outdoors, wildlife, documentary work and reality shows, and developing his story-telling in all areas.
